Tomato Ketchup For Blonde Hair?

I have read various articles saying that tomato ketchup helps counteract greeny tones in hair.

My question is, does tomato ketchup freshen up highlights and help give slighted faded highlights more of their yellow tone back?

I do not want white looking hair, just trying to get back more of that fresh blond hue.

I think it's used more for when dyed blonde hair goes a bit green after swimming.

Have you tried some of the specialist shampoos for blondes?

it doesn't bleach, all it does, because it is red, is counteract green.
