My new little cat-baby...or mistress, knowing that she will take over at some point...;-)
I took her up to my bedroom last night while still in the carrier, and left her in it for about an hour. I kept the door closed when I was in there, and Sally whined and cried. I then let 'Am' (short for amber?) out of the carrier, and left her to explore my room. She spent the rest of the night on the windowcil behind the curtains. Sally came to snif a few times and got a growl/hiss. The door is open but she seems content for now in her little hiding place.
Meanwhile, dopey Caspar slept through all this. I think he's finally twigged that there is 'something' new...he's just not figured out what.
I think she needs a new name...she's a chubby little tortoiseshell.

I'm coming to think that there's a lot to be said for having cats as pets. Not least the fact that they don't need walked in all weathers.
I hope she soon settles in with her new family.
Excellent, great news. Where have you sited her litter tray, pasta? Interested as it seems to vary so much from house to house!

Hi boxy....its in the bathroom...just a few feet from my bedroom.
She's not budged from her safe spot, nor have I offered any food yet.
Its like a waiting game.
Awwww hope she settles in well :o) x

Little Tiggs keeps asking if we're getting another cat but I'm going to try and hold off for a while as I want to move house first.
Great news hope she soon settles down and makes new friends with Sally and Caspar.
I hope sally is not too put out :)
You're doing well. Within a couple of hours of getting my thugs 'Princess' Merlin had bitten me several times. Two sets of antibiotics later my hand was back to its normal size.

I am sure Caspar will work it out - eventually.
Awww, how lovely, any chance of a piccy?
Hope your new baby settles in soon, do put a picture on.
If she likes hiding on the windowsill, why not caller her Cilla?
