Coming from someone who posted the following:

"I don't see what the big issue is with a few overturned bins and a few dried turds on the lawn - big f***ing deal!
And if you choose to keep chickens, make your bloody coop fox proof - how hard can it be?".

Very tolerant and non hateful.
"Well Zeuhl, for all your sanctimonious, holier-than-thou posturing"
I didn't see anything at all sanctimonious or "holier-than-thou" in any of Zeuhl's posts and to anyone who's chosen to read it this way: well that's just your projection afaic.
Sanctimonious is exactly what it is.
Maybe that could seem a bit hypocritical Gusssss but at least I'm able to admit it. AB's contingent of fascists NEVER admit fault or question themselves.
"I : value wildlife because it is beautiful and admirable

You : are threatened by some of it because it competes with you when you are trying to make a few quid and its natural behaviour requires you to take extra measures to protect your investment"

The sanctimony!
"Sanctimonious is exactly what it is"
..not it isn't ...and no returns ....HA!
Fascists? Try and get this in perspective. We are talking about feeding scavenging animals, treating them as sort of pseudo pets when in fact they will become used to humans giving them food and aggressively take it when it isn;t forthcoming from somebody else.

We have had enough cases of foxes attacking small children in their own homes thank you very much.
I suggest you have a look in the dictionary.

The word applies to you too.
"We have had enough cases of foxes attacking small children in their own homes"
Yeah, like that happens every day.
Both of you think you are morally superior to others because you feed the "beautiful furry animals".
Returning to the OP.......

I don't feed foxes as I feel they have a more than adequate diet scavenging where I live and hunting wild prey.

As it is a large, territorial beast I would not want to actively encourage them into my garden.

I do feed wild animals but favour birds when the conditions are harsh and hedgehogs as their numbers are declining.
"Yeah, like that happens every day."

Oh unbelievable. How often is acceptable for you?

What a monumentally stupid thing to say.
"The word applies to you too".
In your opinion? I believe? afaic?
This proves my point about AB's fascists refusal to question themselves or show any humility whatsoever.
"Both of you think you are morally superior to others"
I don't think I'm morally superior to anyone, that's your misinterpretation - you know nothing about me.
Zeuhl: "Probably the reason i scored those points against you is that i have a sincere reasoned argument that i have given some thought to".

Translates: "Look at me, morally and intellectually superior to you".
"What a monumentally stupid thing to say"
Don't be a prat - these are rare and unusual incidents.
"you know nothing about me."

And yet you have repeatedly described others you have no knowledge of as "fascists". Add hypocrite to sanctimonious.
could you two just take it outside or get a room?
I suggest Gussss that you have a massive chip on your shoulder.
..sorry Alba (and Honey).
