my friend would like to buy my pony when i sell him but has any one got any ideas on how she can persuade her mum that he is perfect for her and she wont get bored of him

Having a pony is very expensive and time consuming and also very tying.  Is your friend prone to doing an activity for a few weeks and getting bored?  If she were my daughter she would have to prove (for at least a couple of years) that she had the staying power - I suppose it helps that one of my children, and I like horses so I would say yes!
