Hey,
As you can see I have two kittens. What is the best Vac people have found for getting up their hairs and litter etc without having to lose ten pounds in weight from the effort you need to put it??!!!!
Thanks :)

I've heard that the Dyson pet vac is good. Saw it mentioned somewhere before, maybe even on this site. Check back a few posts from a couple of months ago. Good luck.
Dyson animal.
Meile 'Cat & Dog' the best ever.
I have a Dyson compact with a Mororhead which is sooo much better than my previous vac. It's much lighter than the standard one but you have to empty it quite often.
The other thing I use is an 'electrostatic broom' - it's just a cheap broom with rubbery bristles and a window wiper blade along one edge. It's great for hard floors and even rugs.
This is a question which comes up regularly and the Meile usually comes out best. We've a long haired GSD and the Dyson just couldn't handle it whereas kats recomendation the Meile Cat and Dog has no problem. The only disadvantage is it's back to buying bags
we either use rubber gloves or a dog undercoat comb and they both bring up hairs great if you can't afford a whizzy hoover

I had a dyson and found it useless so after advice on this site I got a Miele cat and dog. It's stunning on pet hair, everything. The disadvantage of reverting to bags is far outweighed by its performance.
Kat1 - I agree.
The Miele cat and dog is excellent. Mine is 13 years old, still going strong vs. two (large) dogs.
I've got the Miele Cat & Dog and its pretty good. I also have carpet that only goes one way so its difficult to go back and forth but the Miele seems to do the job with little effort.
I have 7 cats and 3 dogs, And have a Dyson Animal Ball, Brilliant it is and could not do with out it,The 5 years Guarantee is also a bonus
I've got three cats who moult constantly - I've had a Meile Cat and Dog cylinder vac for five years and it's brilliant, when it packs up I will get another one.

Here we go again! ... : )

Miele Pet by far.
(or Cat & Dog)
I have a dyson ball which copes with three long haired rough collies, but I do have to get the hair off the rollers occasionally. I have heard the Sebo is very good and lightweight too.
