My terrier caught and killed a rabbit today that had mixi, is there likely to be any side effects ?

No, dogs don't get miximatosis.
I'd be more concerned that he will now want to catch and kill other small animals, ie cats!
That is what terriers do. No side effects to her or him .Not so good for the rabbit tho.

At least it put the rabbit out of its misery. She has tried to catch rabbits before but healthy ones are too quick !!
No health issues for the dog. Good for the rabbit too, one less to die a slow death of starvation or be squashed on the road, all due to mans interference with nature.
