I made a phone call around 9am no problem had been on the A/B since 6am approx., around 11am tried to use the phone it was dead, the red light was on the digi box so no internet either, I am with Tesco which is usually fine. Had to go out so text pal to ring BT and say she could not get thru
[ BT do Tesco line repairs] she text back to say BT says you have been cut off, so returned home about 4pm ready to do battle with Tesco and go to war if need be, got home and phone & internet are working fine. So what happened in between ?

You were cut off! Doesn't mean they did it, or it was done deliberately, Could be kids/vandals/a mistake in the office - as long as it's back working fine, no problems!!
