Better in himself boxy.......mrs sqad in Barcelona for the day so I have been in charge.
He still can't see and I havehad to lift him up the stairs to feed.....it is an upside down villa...bedrooms downstairs kitchen and lounge upstairs.

Decision will have to be made over the weekend as it seems unfair to let him go on like this.

It's a hard call, sqad - especially if he's otherwise healthy..... Fingers crossed for you all.
Thanks boxy....a really hard call.
sqad, just read this and your post.
The poor thing. I hope it's temporary and can be sorted by meds if needed.

Love the name Airborne, very apt.

Hope the wee thing does improve xxx
fingers crossed sqad that he is picking up, it hasnt been many days so dont give up hope our old feral cat outside will have a few really bad days every now and again and i think i am going to have to make the decision ,then all of a sudden she will pick up and will be dashing about outside again
My last cat was completely blind at the end of his life. His only problem was my internal stairs. He managed to get up them without a problem but wasn't at all confident on the way down - he took ages to get down but he managed.

You know your boy Sqad - you know where he lives and you will know if he isn't enjoying life as he should.

Do you have larger predators around that may take advantage of him? Foxes spring to mind but other Toms might try and muscle in to his territory.

A horrible decision to have to make. I feel for you, Sqad.

My feral cat had fits and it was horrible to watch. I took her to the vet, fully expecting her to be put to sleep. To my surprise, the vet didn't recommend this.
