I'd be surprised if they work for Virgin, it's usually in the news if real staff are used (look at Howard in the old Halifax ads). Real staff aren't in Equity either (if they need to be do ads these days, I may be out of touch).

Zeuhl Halifax still use staff members, they ask staff to audition. The latest one was in December but the may use actors as well as.
