Lovely! All this's made me laugh - but why bother changing names by deed poll when people can come on here and use the multitude of ali@rses that they do? Haven't really been on AB that long, but I now know who some of you pretend to be. Hilarious. How many of you are criminals? What've you got to hide? OK, ok - I'm going to change my name by deed poll now, and maybe have a sex change whilst I'm at it. Might become Rick Shaw.

I did change my name!

I spent 37 years with a name ive hated to the point of despising. I looked on the net and was surprised at how easy it was to do- so I did! It cost 34 quid and was done within a week. The only hassle is changing your bank details etc.

Despite no one who i've known a while, including Mr Boo calling me by my new name, i'm really chuffed and wished i'd done it earlier.
