..................the boy and girl from the Birds Eye Beefburger TV adverts from the 70s? The boy character was called Ben, but I can't remember what the girl's name was.

SurreyGuy, I don't know the answer but if you want to see those ads again you should go to YouTube, type in "uk tv adverts" and look (particularly) for 2 guys called Adwatch and Col2006 who have posted/and continue to post old ads from the 70's and 80's.
