Apparantly no one knows why we (the UK) are the only ones to sit on the floor and do that crazy dance or where that originated from? I saw an article some years ago interviewing the Gap Band and they were most amused by our antics! Does anyone know where it was first started and why? Im still intrigued after all these years of doing it!!

How do any of these dance crazes start..the Macarena, 'Saturday Night', 'Wig Wam Bam' etc? gawd knows. Mind you, how else would you dance to 'Oops upside your head'...just a little sway?

This dance must be almost 30 years old now...jeepers!
