I've just opened a new bottle of Bailey's & the drink is very lumpy with cream clots. A horrible sensation to have in your mouth.

I have shaken & shaken, apart from using a sieve I just don't know. Has it gone off????

Sounds like it's gone off.  Cream liqueurs do have sell by dates

Congratulations Sharon on managing to keep a bottle of Baileys long enough for it to go off;-). I couldn't.

Yes, it is off. Drink it at your own peril ...

recently bought - I would take it  back

I tried to eek out an opened bottle of Baileys with white wine and it congealed. The best I can describe is that it was like drinking vomit

I'm very disappointed as I was looking forward to it. Gonna pour it down sink as was bought earlier this year. Roll on the £10 Xmas offers of Bailey's!!

I used to like it, but don't like anything creamy any more.

Question Author

I love it. My last bottle was the pina colada one.

£13 a litre a Tesco for Clubcard holders at the moment

This is all reminding me of school milk with yellow clumps of cream,   LOL PP re vomit.

Question Author

Thanks Barry. I am heading to Tesco tomorrow for the wine offer so will pick up a bottle then.

Or two. 😃😃

I bought some Bailey's last Christmas. I didn't open it immediately because I already had some open; it has been open a few months in the fridge. I just poured some out and it's perfect. I'll sleep well tonight.

Lucky you bhg!!!

We normally make our own but there was an offer on Amazon £10 for a 1 litre bottle, cheaper than I can make it, so I bought two. Still have one unopened. The version we make keeps happily for over a year - I was led to believe the whisky stops the cream going sour; it seems to do with ours.

I bought some years ago and never again cos i thought I drank a bottle of sugar. Too too sweet for me

Question Author

I have a sweet tooth jj!

I don't think you're meant to drink the whole bottle at once jj! 😂

Glass or bottle   urgent

Question Author

Glass, jj, always glass.
