will deliver my baskets then take flowers to the cemetery.. back home ..catch up on papers..and rest after 2 solid days of physical toil ! lol..might get a late lunch out somewhere

We usually do something for Easter or have people to dinner but it's become just another day really. When I was little it was a bit like Christmas! A big event.

Easter was magic when we were wee..we would line up all the eggs and bunnies we had been given..not allowed to eat 'till Sunday..new easter bonnet and dress... go to mass in the morning ..then home to paint a hard boiled egg..then out rolling chocolate eggs down the hill... granny and puppa would come for dinner..and more easter treats would come with them.. it was always very special

I treated myself to a Belgian choccy egg from sainzywatsits and enjoyed it, and not a shred of plastic packaging!

I recently traded an old T 4 in, for this , a T 3, not a retro grade step as the new one is in much better condition. I spent money on the t4 getting it roadworthy etc, but could not live with the auto gearbox.
The old one is in the bangers and cash April auction, will probably lose a bit of money, given the market for T 4’s right now , but c’est la vie.

Chocolate is a distant memory for me, diabetes, strangely I thought I would miss it , but I don’t. I do miss a glass of red though, and admit to cheating on that occasionally

Diabetes is a right pain..you have to be so careful..as the consequences of ignoring can be 'orrible.. dad was diabetic and it caused a lot of complications later in life...

No name for the westy, I am not a fan of that , but OH saw one the other called snoopy, and has been muttering-about getting a snoopy sticker, should I give into her whims? Don’t know
