I can't help wondering what the kid is going to think when he inevitably discovers that his mum dumped him in a park.

Do we know the reason why she felt the need to 'dump' the child - its a pretty desperate course of action.
I hope the family will be reunited.
I'm glad she's been found, at least the child will know who his mother is even if they never meet.

Maybe the UK should have safe places for mothers to leave their babies anonymously - many countries do.

Traditionally they left them in shop doorways etc, knowing they will be found.
Oddly though, never Mothercare.
I guess the CCTV cameras would put a lot of people off leaving babies in shop doorways and the like.
Very lucky to be alive.
Good point, Barry.
I’m pleased the mother has been found save and well.
I'd expect she'd been hiding her pregnancy and had nowhere to turn. At least she knows her child is now well care for.
1. Yes it's good she was found & can be offered any help required.
2. The child will probably be adopted - if/when he does learn the circumstances of his birth he will probably be old enough & mature enough to deal with it.
You should all watch long lost family

and said - oh! a brother i would have loved to have lived on a farm
