Doesn't anyone put a fairy/angel on top of a Christmas tree any more? Ours was broken when we got it out this year, I have trawled the shops looking for a new one, but no luck.

If I was to put up a tree it would have to be a fairy on top. Don't really know why, just seems right to me and of course amusing!

I brought fairy from a garden centre a few years ago, maybe have a look in one of those.

Put a Star there instead, difficult to find a fairy these days unless you visit the 'Gay' village ! :-)))

Yeah... I have a cute little doll thing I got given that I use. I'm sure I've seen some in christmas shops as well.

I've got a lovely jewelled tree topper but have noticed that a lot of artificial trees are not strong enough at the top to hold a nice star, I've had to bend the top over to make it stronger. I don't like fairies on a tree, they look like loo roll toppers.

Used to have a fairy, but she got very tatty over the years. Now have a star but not quite the same.

My Mum still has one from the 1940s, she is still going strong and sees the light of day every year for a few weeks! (the fairy .... not my Mum you understand Haha!) ;)

Mum has a lovely angel for the top of her tree, she only bought it a couple of years ago. I have a silver star on mine.

We have Taz the Tazmanian Devil on top of our tree, he's got angel wings and a leather jacket on! He's been on our tree for 15 ish Christmases.

Ours is made out of the inside of a toilet roll,a doyley and bits of tinsel. My daughter made her at nursery school. (She's 43 on Tuesday)
