let's be honest here - would that really be such a bad thing?

in my experience, this catering chain is staffed entirely by bored teenagers who can't cook and hate their customers with a passion.

i remember going on long car journeys when little (in those heady days where if the sun was shining, your skin would stick to the vinyl seats) and being very excited if we saw a little chef, because there was always the possibility that the parents might stop and we could order a coke float or a cream soda. For that nostalgic reason, i'd be sorry to see them go. Although i can't actually remember the last time we went into one. I think it was probably the one at heckfield, which alas has been gone for years now
As are most KFCs, McDonalds, Burger Kings etc to be honest. I actually can't remember the last time I went in a Little Chef.
I won't miss them mushroom, haven't been in one for about 20 years and they were pretty crap then.
I love KFC.
Yes KFC is finger licking good
And wine ^^^^^^^
tony, don't hold back, tell it as it is.
I thought they closed down years ago.
Little Chef really were the bottom of the barrel, I only went in them once or twice many years ago, never again!

It is sad to see any established company shut down but they really didnt keep up with constantly changing demands.
Yes,and wine
Drop left if you fancy it Tony
I thought they closed down years ago.

I see Little Chef was popular with you as well then, baza.
No problem giveup, see you in a bit then.
Bring your marigolds washing up still not done.
When I was a kid they seemed to be based on the American diners that you saw in films.
Glad to see the back of them - I think I've walked out of them more times than I've eaten in them. Such bad service.
I'll ask mrs overkill if she'll borrow me a pair, giveup.
The one we used to visit locally was run by a lovely woman and we built a great friendship with her. I loved them as a kid but for me Frankie and Benny's is the way forward now
Do you remember their competitor chain, who they eventually took over - the Happy Eater?

Their logo was a man putting his fingers down his throat:

Burger king for me!!! Mmm, love it.
I could not eat KFC, the thought of those tiny little chicken being slaughtered on mass when just a few weeks old is barbaric!

Take a look at the size of those drum sticks and then imagine how small that chicken was when slaughtered and all the growth hormones fed to the chickens to boost its growth so they can slaughter it quicker.

I know we all eat animals that have been slaughtered, but not the KFC way.
