I've got to have reading glasses. Flippin'eck.

They had an offer on buy one pair, get one pair free'
I am very indecisive. Choosing the first pair was difficult, choosing the second pair was a nightmare.

I am not looking forward to future visits!

You have to make sure they suit the shape of your face Tilly.
it's ok I won't make any four eyes jokes lol.
I've been to them in the past. Agreed to swop the second pair offer for money off coatings and suchlike. Rarely have I ever needed a spare pair, the old ones work in an emergency.
They ALWAYS have that offer - I usually get the second pair as sunglasses.

I thought a air for work and a pair for home would be a good idea.
It is Tilly.
i always thought their collection of glasses was quite limited and my son struggled to find two pairs that suited him. in the end he did get a 'study' pair and a 'going out' pair. with contact lenses, he spent around £200 which was great. however, i went online and paid £15 for my glasses. the do the job!!! x
It is ...comma....Tilly.

I probably won't wear them if people are going to call me 'Speccy four eyes'!
LOL, now who would do that Tilly !
If you're not going to wear them, can you get a fitted harness for your avatar?

(I dread to think where I'd end up if my avatar was my guide, probably the local Butchers!)
Question Author
They're reading glasses, Baldric!

Anyway, she does have a harness. I'll meet you at the butchers.
Oh sorry, reading glasses,

Are you kidneying me?
Go to the £1 shop , reading glasses £1 a pair . Strength 1 to 3.5
That's where I get mine , I normally buy 5 or 6 pairs at once, I always lose them within a week or so. No point paying more I still lose them I got a pair for £99 from the opticians still lost them within a week.

Well it's too late now. I've been to Specsavers. Anyway you don't get the retinal screening and the glaucoma tests at the pound shop do you? At least I know my eyes are healthy. Might go to the pound shop in the future though.
I was trying on glasses a few year ago and the woman in the opticians helping me to choose said the pair I was trying on made me look like Hitler...
Question Author
