Saw him live last night in Chesterfield - he was AMAZING! he sang far, far better than he did at the Jubilee Concert. What a showman! - anyone else see him?

Same here, I saw him live a few years ago and it was an amazing performance. Would definitely go to see him live again.

Roslyn, I, & a few commented on Elton's performance on the Jubilee, it was nothing to do with Elton & his fellow artist's but the sound, granted it was outside & a lot of things that could effect the sound, I'm sure but it was not said by the artist's themselves that the sound equipment was not suitable for their performance.

he was still recovering from illness during the jubilee; apparently he's over it now.

Dad went to see him last night at Chesterfield.
He said he sang for over two hours and was very good.
Commented he is always good live.
Jubilee was very unlike him.

Dad works in the music industry and got free tickets.
He just turned up , saw someone he knew and got some comp's :-)
Otherwise he is not an Elton fan as such. It was a chance to catchup with some old mates.
