Twice today my posts have been edited. Is this a new policy? If so, I think it should be re-examined. I for one am not happy for other people to change what I've written. That simply isn't right.

I'd suggest it's the language that such comments are couched in which is the reason for their deletion, rather than the actual content.

AH, asking someone why they disagree with your post does not contravene Site Rules - and that’s what was removed - a simple one line - so you really shouldn’t make unfounded assumptions. Further you will note that the SpareEd has commented on it so you're wrong there too. Just thought I’d remedy any misconceptions you may have before I move on to more pleasant conversations.

I've told this before, the worst I've seen is an AB member being called a cow by another poster. I reported it. It was not removed.

The Mods do not 'discuss amongst themselves'.

The Mods are not connected to each other, or to the Editorial Team except by report buttons, and a 'delete post/thread' function.

I have no idea who the rest of the Moderators are - the notion that it is a left-wing conspiracy cabal is based more on the lurid imaginations of some on here, than on actual fact.

I would not presume to second guess the actions of my fellow Moderators, or the Editorial Team, but as advised, we are not connected, and we do not discuss actions or share opinions.
