Is There A Fault With The Ed's Blog Category?

I was looking for an answer I thought might be in a previous thread in the Ab Editor's Blog but noticed there is only the one page.

The odd thing is it has twenty-one answered threads instead of the normal twenty but it goes back only to 30th October this year. It also says there are only nine answered threads.

Is there a fault? If no, why are you showing so few threads?

All topic links only go back one month when the default 'Most Recent' tab is selected, so there's nothing unusual there. It's possible (and, indeed, likely) that the Ed has simply tidied up the category by removing older threads from visibility when other tabs are selected.
found this from Ed's blog from 2013

surely it should be on page 243 or similar if the category was working properly? :-)
I think the best way to describe it is - like any bank, only so much is held at the front desk.

Earlier deposits are in the vault.

The problem then becomes how to find it, if you know the OP or any particular phrases that can help in a search but otherwise you are stuck.

The "Answered" option goes back only to 3rd November.

Why should it be different from the other categories?
Is it different in other categories?

On the "Answered" option in Insurance, for example, it shows "1 to 20 of 875" so there are dozens of pages on that one.
Apologies, I thought you were referring to thrreads listed on main topic pages.

I'm sure morning will bring a better explanation than my stab.

I sub threads a lot (have far too many) and have made the odd note of phrases from ones I'd like to return to in order to make searching easier.
I will get the techie gnomes to look into this.
