Following on from Aunt Pollys thread about cakes, have you a trade you follow from your childhood that you must do/ have at Christmas ( like a Christmas cake )
I think mine has to be ,must have new PJs and slippers to put on after my bath on CE, then we each open a present at 12-05 am that’s been under the tree, we did that at home when I was small, do you have any ?

Sorry if there’s a Christmas category,or seasonal, I couldn’t see it

^^^^ well I’d imagine because you don’t ‘do’ Christmas that much...just ho!
Christmas traditions.. Mmmm... Well usually eat a traditional meal as a family and buy presents for eachother.

Sausage rolls and mince pies as we open gifts.

Apart from that nothing has to be specific.
My favourite Christmas Tradition involves waiting until we have entered the month of December to do/think anything about it.....

It’s a good job we are all different then Jack?
Do I have to wait till then to talk about it ?:0)
Sitting round the dining room table with mountains of spuds, sprouts swede and carrots with carols playing on the dvd player and loads of spirits in abundance. My mum and dads favourite time. Shrieks of laughter and the carefully prepared veg never looked so uniform at the end as it started. ll done on Christmas eve but still ok to get up at silly o clock next morning to put the giant Turkey on.
Yep :)

It really doesn’t faze me at all Spath, its like waiting for a bus, one comes then a few come together :0)
Of course not.
But you might have run out of steam by then.....given that we are still yet to celebrate Halloween and Guy Fawkes Night and commemorate Armistice Day.

I doubt it Jack, I really doubt it
Zacs, it's a bit like... Ones mans trash is another mans treasure.

Imagine seeing trash though, and still going and sticking your fingers in it. Not the thing to do, is it?
Oh great. Thats me out of here. :-(
JackTheHat, I still have wrapping paper to buy! Certainly won't be forgetting about that any time soon.
Smashing.
Well, that's something to look forwards to.... :o(
