Thursday. It's raining and it looks like it's here to stay. Therefore I won't be out long this morning. I only need to get the paper and buy some hedgehog food, and collect some more skydive money. The joys of domesticity then, what a fund day. :o}

How are you and the wee man this morning?

I just had to move the wee man. He was squashed up in the corner of his cot. He'd have eventually woke up screaming if I'd left him like that ❤

I still have a week's worth of newspapers to read. I'll have to make time today. Yesterday was manic getting the house ship-shape for our buyer to come round and all she wanted to do was look at the fusebox!

He certainly would! That is not comfortable at all. Our youngest used to sleep on his knees with his head on the pillow, that didn't look comfortable either, but turn him over and he immediately reverted to it.

Look at the fuse box? That's a new one!

She brought an electrician round (she'd originally said she was bringing a colleague). To be honest I think she's going to keep finding excuses to come round. She'll be wanting to measure up next.

It's piddling down with rain outside. How's the weather in Gloucestershire?

She's got her own agenda right enough. Not very subtle is she!

Very wet here too. It looks like it's in for the day. So I'll go and see my ex RAF mate, I haven't seen them for a while.

I don't know why, but I've been very tired the last few days.

Recovering from a charity dinner at an Indian restaurant. They hold one a month, with 50% of the takings going to a different one. This time for a 14 month old little tot with all sorts of problems suffered from birth.

Morning Arrods, that sounds like a worthy cause. I hope the benevolence of the restaurant and its patrons brings a smile to that little tot's face.

WBM, I daresay the excitement of your skydive has probably taken it all out of you.

[Arrods]

Looks like we'll need a new fuse box as part of the kitchen redevelopment which will require a lot of additional wiring. We've got one of the 'old' ones and more than one electrician has warned us about the need for a new one, so it looks genuine.

I'm sure you're right LCG. It would explain it.

Quite right arrods. the newer fuse boxes are a lot safer, no wires to change, they are all switches.

[LadyCG]

In that case, Arrods, I'd trust what they're saying.

Our new house will need a complete rewire. Then we'll be building a rather large extension on the back which will become a big open plan kitchen diner and a seperate extension over the garage to replace the bedroom we're converting into a bathroom. I'm sure I'll have gone grey by the end of it.

I'm sure it will look lovely when it's done, and increase the value.

That's some project you've got there LadyCG. Any idea how long that will take.

Just remembered we're off today for our annual blood tests. They reckon they can do them at the surgery now but OH will wish them luck as even the hospital has trouble due to the aftermath of the chemo she had to endure a few years back.
