They're back. I've been getting them while on AB for a week or so now. This is on my phone. I need to close the tab and start again.

Hi pastafreak, if you see the website address that appears when this come up, could you please let me know what it is so I can block it? Are you on an iPhone?
Yes, same for me on my Samsung- occurs within a few seconds of me getting into AB and starting to tab through. Somene said Chrome is the issue but someone else had Firefox problems (spam congratulations you have won...) messages.
Somone recomended a better browser for the phone.
Ed wants us to send the addresses of these warnings. I don't know why they can't be checked by AB before they accept rogue ads
Question Author
Will do, Ed...and I'm on a Samsung.
It's a bit more complicated than that FF, if I could do that I would!
It's been happening to me too on my iPhone
Question Author
I don't see an address but it says" wck7kwn9ec says:"
Then states it's infected with 4 harmful viruses from adult sites...What The Funicular????
Question Author
Just had another from
" us.homogenizes614ih.xyz"
I think it's different every time.

Here's another...this on my Samsung tablet. The warning appears over a Google warning, which was in French.

g65h 2ylycl.pw
I've inserted a space between the h and 2.
I hope something can be done about this as it is annoying as ****
I've had the same ones pasta, on Samsung. Can't see where you get the address from on a mobile.
May I ask what antivirus you use - and do you use that program we dont mention.

Hi Ed. I was assuming that when advertising space is sold there could be some sort of contract with the advertiser which includes an agreement not to include such spam/irritants. Then when an advertiser abuses it you stop the ad and blacklist them. Maybe it's not that simple in practice

Anyway, I have cleared my cache on your phone following your zapping of the rogue virus warning and it seems to be clear now (for now) so thanks
Question Author
I use malwayrbytes...nothing has ever been detected. And no...I don't use the unmentionable...get very few ads.
Mine was clear when I cleared cache, but has come back since. I have Malwarebytes which finds nothing and a lot of unmentionables.
