Where's our St George's Day Logo? I do hope we will be having one, we seem to get one for St Patrick every year.

This is just bullying now, Tilly!
April 24 is World Day for Laboratory Animals so you should give the hamsters the day off

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Day_for_Laboratory_Animals

April 25 is Anzac Day so you can commemorate the sacrifice of countries who lost nearly as big a part of their population as Britain, despite the war having nothing to do with them.

April 26 is World Intellectual Property Day, so you may have to disable cutting and pasting that day

shame he had to wipe the dragons out

Teasing, Ed. I bet you checked, though.

///You get Burns Night EVERY YEAR.///

And that's really English isn't it?
that was in response to a query about St Andrew, Baldric
/// so you may have to disable cutting and pasting that day///

good idea. we'll be able to see if the liberal/left have any ideas of their own.
'' st Andrews flag is MIA for many years'' ,yes but you get burns night '' !!!!!!!!!!!!and ?
Ta Ed.

I really do worry about people who get in a flap over such an inconsequential thing (Logo) on a site which is free and they're in no obligation to frequent.
I'm sure the liberal left will manage to stop quoting the Mail, while the rabid right celebrate by spending the day in bed or in the pub or both. Win-win.
"in a flap" lol
"And that's really English isn't it?"

That might have been a response to those calling for St. Andrews flags etc?
My thoughts exactly B00.

If it were me in charge I'd pick a logo and leave it at that, don't change it and stop the ridiculous amount of threads moaning about it...

That's probably the way to go anyway ummmm, because even when it's changed some folk still aint happy, lol.
Anneasquith - You're not really adding to any argument there?

The logo is important to some, I understand, but you do have to realise it's me who has to change it.

I did intend to leave it alone and stop changing them for "events" - and maybe this is the way to go. Maybe I'll stop after this one.

well ED I think some abers enjoy seeing their patron saint recognised but, I may be in a minority !

I'll second that Anne, well for St. George anyway,
;-)
