morning boxie, I'm always suspicious of things like this that sort of appear out of the blue I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole ( if I had one) I hope the Ed susses it out.Ron.
I think he dunnit, whiskeyron. Let's nail him http://i56.tinypic.com/2ludfzl.jpg ;)
Very strange this because the site appears to be genuine.

However, I can't believe that our AnswerBank has saved us ABers over £26 million.

Someone from Editorial should reply without delay.

Ron. (The other one)
look just bloody join, i'll never get my 'south of France villa' at this rate.
I imagine the Ed is still sleeping off Bali. I believe his holiday cost in the region of £26,000,000.
Do you honestly think the main Ed works Sundays?

Same typeface. How strange.

craft.....No, I don't.......However, I thought there was a Spare on duty during weekends. If so, he/she must know if AB has a 'side line'.

Trim.....It could mean Television Vietnam.!!:-)

Ron.
If the site is connected with our AB, the Ed would have put us onto it when he replied to the following:-

Ron.
Morning, fully answer:

This is an old money-making attempt by the previous owners of the AnswerBank. I believe it is mostly defunct. So... at one point it was official, but it no longer is!

Stay away for now as, most importantly, we currently don't make any pennies from it!

Also, Ron has a point: we'd like to do this kind of thing built into the AnswerBank, rather than through a third party.

All the best,

Spare
If "the Team" doesn't make any money from AB ...

... why do you do it ???
As I said JJ, it is a legacy money-spinner from the previous administration. We'll see to it in due course.

All the best,

Spare
No villa in the south of France through encouraging subscriptions then ........... :0(

ah, well may as well change my Avatar then
it's the cashback they don't make any money from, JJ - though I notice that the amount is still rising, so ABers somewhere are still profiting (allegedly) and it isn't entirely defunct. I'm trying to remember if any of the £26 million ever came my way.
a thought crossed through my mind ed, is this perhaps why i get so many emails in the junk folder offering me cheap rolex watches? Does it mean the previous owners beggared off with all our details from when we were asked to add our real names and addresses?
