I hope they didn't interupt the Antiques Road Show with this news.
No. They wouldn't do that. They have their priorities right.
Amanda Holden is up and about.

Crumbs, is that the new Sun's front page? She's been back at work for a fortnight!
I know Mandela is held up as a god like figure and I know he ws a symbol of hope during the Apartheit era but what good did he actually do when he was in power. I'm thinking mainly of Mugabe who destroyed his own country but was supported throughout by South Africa . Not once has Mandela even criticised him let alone taken action to help the Zimbabwe people.
held in very high esteem world wide, he is frail and elderly, i hope he returns home to his family soon
Politics modeller, just politics.
I find the fact that Mandela has been elevated to a demi-god, and the toadying, really quite odd.

Apartheid was a heinous regime, but two wrongs don't make a right and Mandela has blood on his hands as a terrorist given he was the leader of the MK when they planted the Chruch Street Bomb (although I suppose one mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter).
Mugabe wasn't Mandela's problem. If you are going to dismiss him, at least do so for something he did or didn't do for his own country.
Gromit # Mugabe wasn't Mandela's problem# Where's your usual bleeding heart Gromit ? Most of the world comdemmed what happened in Zimbabwe and South Africa was the one country that could have put pressure on Mugabe and saved many lives. Of all the African leaders Mandela was the one man who could have made a difference. He chose not to and with your blessing it seems.
