How long does it take to preheat an electric oven?

I have a new oven. I put my fish in and 20 mins later....still raw!!! Not amused! It heats from the top and bottom and I did have a container on the floor. Could this have hampered it? It isn't a fan...

Why do the courts not allow some people's names to be disclosed in the press even if they are over 18?

I can understand it if they are UNDER 18, but cannot think of one reason why someone in their 30's has immunity!

If you work 37 hours a week, is that 9-5, cos that is only 35 or 40 if you count a lunch hour?

Has anyone had an abortion which involves taking tablets? If so, I want to know honestly how painful it is and exactly what happens. For example, does the bleeding start after the first pill at home?...

Liver enzyme raised by one

I have had a few illnesses recently and my doctor sent me for a full blood test. The results show that an enzyme is raised by one. My doctor didn't give me any more info, but DID say it WASN'T alcohol...

I work in a school and have been sent home with conjunctivitis as it is very contagious. Have antibiotic drops from the chemist, but how long should I be off for?

Why do I get vertical lines on my sky programmes?

I keep getting vertical purple lines floating across my tv when I watch sky, but not on terrestial. I have changed the scart lead and still no joy! Help!

Are alcohol and bad backs related?

Help! I am unsure if I have a bad back or it is related to, shamingly, alcohol consumption. If I have too much to drink and stay in bed hungover, the next day I seem to have a bad back at the bottom...
