Why do I get vertical lines on my sky programmes?

I keep getting vertical purple lines floating across my tv when I watch sky, but not on terrestial. I have changed the scart lead and still no joy!


Help!

Do you have your Sky signal going through a video or dvd player? That might be it. Your terrestial probably comes straight from you aerial into your telly.
You could try running a scart straight from you digibox to your telly - see if that helps.

We have those lines on terrestial but not freeview.
