Sewing machine Snapping the thread

Does anyone know why a sewing machine would shred and snap the thread from the top bit and also miss some stiches? Please help

sewing machine problems

My sewing machine breaks the thread (from the top bit) and when i got this sorted (well almost) it kept missing a stich, i have tried to alter the tension (?) is anyone familar with Sewing machines...

Sewing machine gone mad

My electric sewing machine has taken on a life of it's own,once it is switched on at the socket it sets off and will not stop until switched off at the socket to stop it. Any ideas?
