This is a rewrite with added info:- Price quoted for lenses only, specification as follows, variofocals, thin plastic lenses harding coat. goods ?97.72, dispensing ?251.28, is this a rip-off.

Spectacle lenses

Having a recent eye test, I have been quoted ?349 for new lenses(not including frames) ?97.72 for goods and ?251.28 for dispensing. This is for specially thin lenses with a scratch resist hardening...
