Having a recent eye test, I have been quoted �349 for new lenses(not including frames) �97.72 for goods and �251.28 for dispensing. This is for specially thin lenses with a scratch resist hardening coat. The lens reference is Evolis 1.67 MAR, am I being overcharged. Thanks in anticipation of replies.

Yes you are being very overcharged. All optical stores by law now have to give you a copy of your prescription, get a copy of it and try www.irisoptical.co.uk they will do a price for lenses that is so cheap you will be shocked (they also sell frames). Been there twice now as i was sick of paying well over the odds for new glasses. They do a postal service or you can visit their shop near London bridge in London
