network cross over adptors

If i am tryin to network do i need a cross over adapter 4 both computers on the network?

I can't renew my I.P. address in order to network.

I am attepmting to network two computers via ethernet, however the 'client' has limited or no connectivity. When I attempt to repair the connection it says it is unable to renew I.P. address. Please...

MDF and MDS files.....how do i burn them on to a disc?

MDF and MDS files.....how do i burn them on to a disc or just install them? I think they are DVD Rips? Thanx!

Installing a program

I have downloaded a program which I think is supposed to be seperate disks. I have three '.cue' files and three '.bin' files. I can not install the program. I have burnt on to three seperate CD's...
