GHD replacement cable

Does anyone know where you can get hold of a replacement cable, including the connector inside of the handle, for a set of GHD hair straighteners?

Busted GHD's

Has anyone ever sent theirs back for repair (you can do this) and if so, how much did it cost? The trouble is the wire I think, it seems to lose its connection and I don't think its worth trying any...
