Indian Visa

my wife went to india on a indian passport even though she has a british passport, so that she didnt have to get a visa however now the indian authorities will not allow her to come back to the U.K....

my wife has a British passport but had to go to India as an emergency. To avoid having to get a visa she used her Indian passport. Now however to come back to U.K. she has to produce her old expired...
