Scanner to scan photo negatives onto a cd disc

Could anybody recommend a good scanner that will scan negatives on to a cd. Had a look on Novatech, not sure which one would be the best.

When I take a photo the date and time shows on the photo. In Set Up, the date/time is shown as off, why is it still showing when I take photos?? I do not want the date/time showing on my photos.
