india travel for kids?

We have the opportunity of a trip to India (1 week, from the UK) but have 3 kids (ages 1 yr, 2 1/2 yrs & 6 yrs). Does anyone have advice about whether to go or not and if yes, and tips for while...

travel accomodation problem

Is there a 'watchdog' type body to complain to for misleading information about travel accomodation (ie we were told 7 people could fit in our accom but when there were told that only 4 could stay)....
