unknown sniffing animal

SOMETHING visits my bedroom window in the small hours, sniffs very loudly three times, then leaves. I was wondering- what is it and how can I get it to stop. Is it a fox?

UPVC Window Sealant

What's the best way to clean the sealant on UPVC window frames. It's turned a horrible creamy-brown colour (possibly from cigarette smoke) and some of the sealant in a couple of rooms has gone mouldy....
