arthritis

my labrador suffers greatly from arthritis in one of her back legs.she is taking metacam and this seems to help a little.does anyone know of anything else that could help. many thanks

i have just found a tick on our labrador it is well and truly attached can you tell me are their any ways to remove without the use of a vet.
