Court on Friday - a few questions?

I posted a couple of questions a few week back about my case but I have court on Friday and am ******** it now. I was told that I'll be getting a custodial (ABH and having a knife) but am just hoping...

Do they carry out cavity searches when you enter UK prisons?

I heard they have no powers to do them at all - but I saw a documentary where I'm sure they did carry one out upon entry to prison.

Advice - Not being around for the birth of my kid?

My gf is due in August but I don't think I'll be around for the birth as I am getting sentenced in July and my brief has told me to expect up to 2 years. I'm 19 and would do anything not to be in this...

Young offenders

I'm 19 nearly 20 and have court in a few weeks and my solicitor reckons I'll be getting a custodial because of the charges. I'll be 20 then so he says I'll probably be going to Young Offenders Prison...
