disc cleanup

Is it wise to 'compress files to save space' after a disc cleanup? I read that the time taken to uncompress them later if they are needed might cause problems .Thing is i could do with the space

firefox update 2.0.0.1.

I've downloaded the above twice & both times had to do a system restore. I've been saying 'later; whenever it comes up again. Anybody else had problems with it ?

HI,I have BT brodband & TalkTalk phone line. TalkTalk have cut me off but I can still use my Broadband. I'm not complaining but why is this?
