Is it a 'turbo brush'? I had to dismantle mine (the brush) and clean out absolutely loads of clogged-up lint, etc. before it started working normally again.
My dc04 got a some hairs up but then we got a dc14 animal and that gets even them stiff lold grey dog hairs up!!
visit dysons website.they have an excellent diy repair guide.our dc04 suffered loss of suction, went on the site and it turned out it was our filter.the guide showed how to remove & clean it easily, rinse it,dry it put it back in - simple.
Dyson vacuum cleaners - advertised as never losing suction - never ever - not a sausage! So why do they have a website telling you what to do when it does lose suction? Advertising Standards Authority, where are you?
They need a web page for all the DIY repairs you'll have to do when you buy one. They normally pack up just outside the warranty. Get yourself a Henry, that will suck up the dog too and still keep going when your 4th Dyson has been bined.
