We have just moved house and the previous owners (who had a cat) seem to have let all the neighbourhood moggies in. We have 3 neutered cats and one of the neighbours' cats keeps coming in through the catflap and eating their food! Our cats don't wear collars so a magnetic catflap would be of no use. Can anyone suggest how to keep the thieving cat out? Thanks in advance for any sensible advice, Iv'e already considered a shotgun!!!!

its a gun you need alright but not a shotgun! - try a water pistol as most cats will run a mile if squirted with one...should soon get the message if it goes home drenched each visit!

We have the same problem, but we've decided to give up.

Yeah we have the same problem aswell, and we have given up too. There is not much that you can do, our cats cant have magnetic collers either. Because 1 of our cats is a bird eatter and she has got a special coller on already to warn the birds, so they have a chance to escape. One day we came home and all 3 of our cats were hidding from a 1 greedy cat who was eatting their food! Bless them. Honey xXx
