No, you won't lose it. There is a way to copy all email details, but I can't remember it. Something to do with exporting the account, saving it to a floppy or disc, and then importing it into the next computer.

If you have the software needed to access your email, and other details like password etc, you should have no problems, I'd suggest a more knowledgable friend or failing that, the ISP you use for detailed help.

it doesnt have a password, i just press outlook express.
dave - it does have a password that you have already given outlook express.

As long as you know the password you can access your emails from any computer in the world.

I suggest you try to access your emails through the freeserve site now and if you really can't remember the password click the 'forgotten password' link.

Do it sooner rather than later.

as long as you stay with freeserve, you should be able to keep it.

You'll have to contact them to find out how - most have a 'download my settings to new computer' option or some such on their websites

Wanadoo/Freeserve willl already have given you a 'User ID' and as Ethel says you will therefore already have a password and email address etc.. Buying a new computer won't make any difference except that you have to enter/copy existing details to your new computer. If you have any doubts go to the Freeserve help line. If you are not changing telephone number or ISP there should be no problem.
