Was watching tv one night and saw John Simm the man from ''Life on Mars'' talking about he was in U2 or someting like that.Does anyone know what the story was?

When he was a teenager he was in a folk band called US2

Apparently one night they were about to play a gig at Turf Moor (Burnely Football Club) but due to a misprint on the posters, thousands of fans had turned up expecting to see U2
