I don't disagree actually. It would appear that the Yezidi Kurdish are indeed Zoroastrians (or at least a sub-set of it). Yet again, it just goes to show how intolerant organised religion is and how nasty and violent its adherents can be based on nothing more than a few fairy tales written in a "holy" book.
It makes me sick and it angers me. It really does.

What sane person would tolerate the savage slaying of women and men in such fashion? Whether supposedly in the name of religion or 'honour' killings, it is incomprehensible to me.
Everyone has their beliefs and I am happy with that but the line is crossed when radical beliefs translates into gratuitous violence.

There is some evidence that suggests her father had forgiven his daughter but there were several family members who weren't in any mindset to entertain that idea. When D'ua emerged the rest is history with uncles and cousins in no mood for mercy.
After her death, her body was burned and buried with a dog to complete the humiliation. Her body was later exhumed and a post mortem revealed that she had suffered a fractured skull and spine.
Three years later, in 2010, four men were sentenced to death for her murder including two of her uncles. Two others went on the run.
The sentence was awaiting approval by the Iraqi Supreme Court. (I cannot confirm whether the executions took place, can anyone tell me?)

agc; Jewsnews (who he?) puts out this story from 8 years ago as if it is, well, news! Showing one HD still from a movie and another blurred photo of I don't know what.
Obviously attention must be drawn to these barbaric acts but I don't think they do their Jewish cause much good by these lazy 'reporting' methods, particularly as there are stonings and beheadings taking place right now.

You are of course right to state that we shouldn't forget examples such as this but it is curious that Jewsnews put this out as if very current! By all means perhaps remind us on an anniversary basis but this is not the case here.

Except that in this case of course, which was an 'honour' killing so committed by her fellow Yazidis.
I think those who join ISIL have a far wider agenda than mainly for sex. They wish for domination of the world not just fun with the women....
