just found out she died,at least she is with her bobby now.RIP
very sad..part of my growing up Saturday nights....her mum was my mum's teacher in Liverpool....with her Bobby at peace....
I thought cilla s mum was a hairdresser -she definitely want a teacher!
Her mother was market trader ,certainly not a teacher.
RIP Cilla.
Her mother had a second hand clothes stall in the so called "Paddy's Market"
Her singing was not up to much, but she oozed personality and warmth.
Rest easy, Cilla.
poorclare?
Very sudden and sad, RIP Cilla.
I was about 12 or 13 when she was in her heyday and I remember those very sharp violin strokes a the start of the big hit single 'You Are My World'
Funny how you remember certain things, at that time I collected bubble gum cards of pop stars and the picture of Cilla stays in my mind, she wore a green dress and was sat on a chair with her legs crossed.
What a sad loss!
Not nice to see anyone die but lets be honest how she made it is beyond belief couldn't sing terrible host etc got to be the only scouser ever to use the word chuck all the time.
R.i.P
I wouldn't have been a fan of hers. But I'm surprised to hear people saying she couldn't sing. I thought she was a good singer.
You will be with Bobby now Cilla, a peaceful journey. RIP
I thought her singing voice was better before her nose job. R.I.P.
Svejk...I agree...she had a nice voice.
