What some of us are saying, is that the BBC will never give out the ethnicity of a suspected killer,,,,,when it's black.
It's always 'a man' killed xyz. They've given up trying to hide their bias lately. Hours, sometimes days after every other news organisation in the world has, rightly, described Islamist atrocities as such, the BBC will still be saying 'men' did this or even better 'men, possibly right-wing extremists' did that. Still, hard to get accurate journalism for a mere £4billion per year.
Do you have examples of the BBC giving ethnic details when the perpetrators are white and the victims are not white?
Er, white man shoots 9 blacks.
Crikey do we have to look for argument fodder in everything? They stated a fact. It would have been everybody's next question anyway if they'd just said man shoots 9 people in black church.
SVEJK er... other examples?
I should have asked for examples of the victims being white and the perpetrators being black but not revealed as such by the BBC
Prudie is correct here.....argument for arguments sake.

This is just the usual suspects trying to do the Beeb down, and failing ......utterly.

Ply another tune guys !
The police in the case immediately announced it to be a ''hate crime by a white supremacist'' He was wearing a T shirt with the flags of Rhodesia and the old 'Apartheid' South Africa. What more do you want?

The gunman was a black man - named as Ismaaiyl Brinsley, 28 - while the two police officers, Liu Wenjin and Raphael Ramos, were Asian and Hispanic respectively'
Well done, Tablet. Trawl the net for another few hours and you might find one another one or, who knows, one with a white victim.
The Daily Mail headline of the same news story....

// The SMIRKING 'shooter': Race-hate 'gunman who killed nine at black US church' glares at cameras as he's led away in chains //

The fact is, this was a crime motivated by racial intolerance, and both the Daily Mail and BBC reflect that in their choice of words to describe the incident.
Indeed so. When a sectarian murder occurred in N Ireland, was it so ridiculous to announce: "loyalist gunman shoots Catholics" or vice versa?
Similarly here: the headline was thus because everyone could plainly see and hear that it was a race hate crime. Therefore the skin colour of those involved was relevant, as it plainly was to the killer.
I would challenge you to come up with a similar headline where that was not, in fact, the case.
Of course this crime is a racist attack !

It was obvious yesterday, but some people on here refused to acknowledge the fact, instead desperately clinging on to their own prejudices. The BBC just got in the way of their spluttering nonsense.

The BBC could say that day is day, and night is night, and the usual suspects would still insist that they have a left-wing bias !
You don't get it, do you. 'Of course this crime is a racist attack ! It was obvious yesterday'
It very likely is, but you don't know now for sure. And the BBC certainly didn't have a clue when it made the headline the OP's talking about.
I quite agree that when a white man attacks black people it ought to be part of the story, why not. But it shouldn't be a state secret when the boot is on the other foot.
Amazing, in the past when it is reported that a black person or a Muslim has committed a certain crime, the lefties on this site soon pop up and remark "why is the colour of his skin important" or "what has his religion got to do with it".
