Is there any way of seeing if i have any Default Notices against my name? I'm thinking about getting my bank charges from the last 6 years refunded and i just wanted to check if i had any as i might be able to get them removed as well.

You can check on equifax... http://www.equifax.co.uk/ you do have to pay for the service but you can pull up your full credit history. I work in finance and this is what we use to credit check/score people.
