It was mentioned on radio news tonight that she lost her first job as a reporter when she failed to attend a tennis tournament and faked a report. Unfortunately, for her, the chairman of the club had dropped dead during his speech opening the event.

I've been meaning to re-read her earliest novels...the ones that got me hooked. Now I will definitely have to.
